Website addresses will be good. I have googled but am unable to find a PMP equivalent in internet marketing.
A globally accepted certification is the lpi one and you can get the right know-how for this kind of certification also by means of lici tutorials.
Hey guys, Im starting my own internet marketing so hopefully in the long run I can be successful. What steps do you think I should take? I will be affiliating for a major company; however, I have seen others who are also publishing for others on there website I think. What is the publishing part?

Do your market research. What are your competitors doing right and wrong will help you make the right decisions.
Do not get into any debt. Find out how can you do everything more affordable. The attorney who handles my corporations told me. Cash-flow is king.
Ask yourself How can you improve on your website, and marketing strategies.

A local search is when someone searches for a product or a service and includes a city, town or county name in the search query. A typical example of a local term would be “fitted kitchens in Liverpool”
The Yellowpages, trade magazines, newspapers and TV are simply no longer a cost effective means of attracting new customers and leads to your business.
The top search engines which include Google, Yahoo and Bing literally have hundreds of millions of users every day, searching for the very products and services that your business sells. And listen, they don’t care if you have a web site!
If your company appears in the top three or four listings, and you offer the service or product they want and, you get the business.
